After the pioneering efforts and achievements under autonomy for more than a decade, the college felt encouraged to take up greater challenges in higher education and introduced select P.G. courses in 1995.

St. Francis College received autonomous status for postgraduate courses in 2010. The college offers postgraduate programs in the following:
Under autonomy, admission to postgraduate courses will be based on the entrance test scheduled to be held in the college. The date of the examination will be announced soon. Students who qualify in the PG Common Entrance Examination conducted by Osmania University will also be considered for admission to our postgraduate programs. Please note that there is no entrance examination for admission to M.Sc. Applied Statistics. Students will be admitted on the basis of the marks obtained in the graduation examination.

The syllabus for the entrance examination is the complete undergraduate common core syllabus prescribed by Osmania University in the concerned subject. Students will be selected for admission on the basis of their performance in the entrance test. 50% weightage will be given to the marks obtained in the qualifying undergraduate examination.
