- Members of the IQAC meet frequently to review, discuss and plan for quality sustenance and enhancement in academics as well as administration
- Meetings with the external advisory members are held at least once every semester for expert advice and guidance. In addition, an independent Internal Academic Audit Cell (IAAC) has been constituted to provide the necessary checks for the working of the IQAC
- The process of evaluation of teaching and non-teaching staff by the department heads concerned, and an evaluation of each of the heads of departments by the members of their respective departments, is another method of internal quality checking
- The process of evaluation involves self-appraisal of the teacher, and student evaluation. The IQAC also conducts an annual evaluation through the SQC
A semester-wise review of examination results, and a discussion of measures to improve student performance, are undertaken by each department and the IQAC, to ensure that any shortcomings or flaws in performance and evaluation are taken care of. Student Quality Circles (SQCs) have been constituted to ensure that the most important stakeholders – the students – are involved in the decision-making process and are able to express their views on matters concerning them.
