  • Students accompanied by faculty visit mathematics departments at other universities to know about PG programmes and research opportunities in mathematics.
  • In association with the physical sciences club spectrum the department helps students to prepare live demo projects and 3d models to exhibit to school students in the annual event Glee.
  • Experts from industry are invited to address the students about various Career opportunities in mathematics and allied fields.
  • Guidance is provided to prepare for entrance examinations leading to admission in reputed institutes.
  • Courses on mathematics for competitive examinations are conducted to help students seeking jobs in government and corporate sector.
  • Students are involved in organizing many annual events such as mathematics quiz, treasure hunt, poster and paper presentation etc.
