Seminars

• Short video competition on “Space Physics and Physics in Nature” on 2nd July 2019 to commemorate 50th Anniversary celebrations of Apollo 11 Misssion. About ten teams have participated with zeal.
• International Webinar by eminent researcher Dr.Radha Ranganathan, Department of Physics, California State University Northridge on 3rd June 2020. The session was on “Experimental Biophysics - Organization of molecules in biological membranes”.
• International webinar on “Nano-structured thin films for Multifunctional Applications” on 11th June 2020 by Dr. Venkata Sreenivas Puli, Materials Research Scientist, Smart Nanomaterials Solutions (LLC), Casselberry, FL, USA & Visiting Researcher, Department of chemistry, Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCAR), São Carlos, Brazil in association with Departments of Chemistry and Electronics.

Workshops

• One day National Workshop on “ Sun & Spectroscopy” by Dr. J.Rukmini Assistant Professor, Department of Astronomy, Osmania University, Hyderabad.& Dr. D. Shanti Priya Head, Associate Professor, Department of Astronomy, Osmania University, Hyderabad on 30-Jan-2023 with 3 Staff & 50 Students.
• Workshop on “Paralleling Daily Physics with Simulation” by R.S.Karthikeya Priya Head, Associate Professor, Department of Physics St Francis college for women was held on 08-May-2021 with 3 Staff & 43 Students.
• Workshop on “Awareness on Climate Change, Adaptation and Mitigation” by Ms. Nikitha Naidu on 12th January 2019.

• Visit to HCU,Hyderabad on Jan 3rd 2018 to attend a popular lecture by Prof Hiroshi Amano, Noble Laureate and director of Akasaki, Research centre, Nagoya University, Japan on Blue LED’s and transformative electronics for developing sustainable smart Society.
