Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs)
- PSO1. PSO 1: Student is empowered with knowledge of disciplinary and interdisciplinary aspects of Biotechnology.
- PSO2. Develops critical thinking and is able to apply appropriate tools and techniques in Biotechnological manipulation.
- PSO3. Develops an ability to justify social, health, safety, legal issues and understand the responsibility towards ethical practices in biotechnology
- PSO4. Acquire laboratory skills necessary for Biotechnology research, gains practical and theoretical knowledge in Biological chemistry, Structure and functions of carbohydrates, proteins and lipids.
- PSO5. Effectively disseminate the knowledge gained, in Diagnostics, Pharmaceutical and Health sectors.
- PSO6. Understand the main principles of metabolic biochemistry concepts along with the function of specific anabolic and catabolic pathways and how these pathways are controlled and interrelated in a living system.
- PSO7. Apply the concepts of molecular biology and recombinant DNA technology and enhance the skills in Immunological and biochemical techniques.
- PSO8. Analyze knowledge of a human body with respect to the physiology, Immunology, Endocrinology, Clinical biochemistry and being able to correlate the condition to a disease.
