Eligibility Criteria

  • Applicants must hold a B.Sc. in Life Sciences or Nursing from a recognized Indian university with a minimum of 55% aggregate marks.
  • Eligibility is restricted to candidates who have completed the programme through the regular mode of study.

Assessment Criteria

Evaluation Structure
  • Continuous Internal Assessment (CIA): 40 Marks
  • Semester End Examination (SE): 60 Marks
  • Minimum 80% attendance required for eligibility
  • Internship component carrying an additional 3 credits, providing practical exposure and hands-on experience in real-world settings.
Programme Outcomes
  • Apply knowledge of human biochemistry, pathology, and microbiology to work effectively as a clinical dietitian in hospitals and healthcare settings.
  • Design and evaluate balanced diets and food systems to perform as a nutritionist in wellness centers, fitness industries, and food service organizations.
  • Conduct nutritional assessments and interpret dietary guidelines (RDA) to deliver evidence-based nutrition counseling in clinical and community settings.
  • Plan and implement therapeutic diets for various diseases, ensuring improved patient outcomes and supporting roles in hospitals and rehabilitation centers.
  • Promote community health by developing nutrition programs and awareness strategies as a public health nutrition professional.
