St. Francis College aims to build an effective and a vibrant entrepreneurship ecosystem on campus to develop and support entrepreneurs.
St. Francis College For Women joined the National Entrepreneurship Network of 470 top-tier academic institutes across the country, in August 2009. This network is a non-profit initiative supported by the Wadhwani Foundation, and was established in the year 2003 with a mission to create and support entrepreneurs, thereby driving job creation and fuelling economic growth in India.
It partners with academic institutes to help them build an effective and a vibrant entrepreneurship ecosystem on campus to develop and support entrepreneurs. Two faculty members – Ms. Mallika Shetty, Dept. of BMS, and Ms. Mary Anthony, Dept. of Botany – have qualified to be the NEN Campus Advisors after successful completion of a 5-day FDP during October 2009 held in Aurora Business School, Hyderabad.
St. Francis College for Women will strive to leverage the partnership with NEN to the maximum advantage of its enthusiastic students.
