Program Outcomes (POs)

• PO1. Develop intellectual flexibility, creativity and cultural literacy so that students may engage in lifelong learning to be competent in the present global scenario.
• PO2. Acquire knowledge in their respective subjects with human values forming the base to deal with various problems in life with courage and humanity.

• PSO1. Understand the basic themes, concepts, chronology and the Scope of Indian History that span distinct eras.
• PSO2. Understand the history of countries other than India with a comparative approach.
• PSO3. Think and argue historically and critically in writing and discussion and prepare for various types of Competitive Examinations
• PSO4. To enable students obtain knowledge pertaining to the approaches to the study of English Literature over the ages
• PSO5. To facilitate students to apply critical thinking in analysing and interpreting different genres of a literary text.
• PSO6. To evaluate human response to an emotion and its relevance in a given context
