Program Outcomes (POs)
  • PO1.Critical Thinking: Apply critical thinking and enhance learning in the three major subjects of their choice with scientific reasoning and analytical skills.
  • PO2. Problem solving: Think logically and organize task into a structured form for problem solving by applying the knowledge of basic science.
  • PO3.Effective communication: To develop the ability of effective communication of scientific information in written and oral format.
  • PO4. Individual and team work: Function effectively as an individual and as a member or leader in diverse teams and in multi-disciplinary settings.
  • PO5. Ethics: Apply ethical, moral and social values in personal and professional life leading to holistic development of the individual.

Program Specific Outcomes (PSOs)
  • PSO1. Acquiring a conceptual and operational understanding of core areas namely Differential Equations, Integral Calculus, Algebra, Analysis, Number Theory and Graph Theory.
  • PSO2.Developing proficiency in analytical reasoning, critical thinking, analysing problems, and applying mathematical concepts to real-world situations
  • PSO3. Competence in using mathematical software tools and technology to analyze and visualize mathematical problems.
  • PSO4. Graduates will acquire knowledge of microeconomics, macroeconomics and growth and development models and are equipped with all the relevant tools based on economic principles and theories
  • PSO5. Enables them to assess the real time situation of the economy in relation to other countries, and social security measures adopted in the country, by the knowledge gained in money banking and public finance, Indian economy and international economics
  • PSO6. The practical component in Economics enables the students to estimate and apply various economic theories and their working.
  • PSO7. Gain a solid understanding of fundamental statistical concepts such as probability theory, descriptive statistics, inferential statistics, and data analysis techniques
  • PSO8. Accomplishing the skills necessary to design and conduct statistical research studies, including formulating research questions, designing experiments, collecting and analyzing data, and interpreting results.
  • PSO9.Develop proficiency in using statistical software packages such as SPSS and R for data analysis, visualization, and statistical modeling.
