Capacity Building

The Department of Hindi aims to provide requisite skills to the students and hence strive to conduct effective workshops, guest lectures and act play for them.

Workshops

• One day workshop on ‘Voice-Over and Dubbing’ by Dubbing Artist Mr. Gautham Chavala on 27th Feb 2022 With seven staff and Sixty Students(Various Colleges) participation. This Workshop was jointly organized by All Language Department.
• In 2018, one day workshop was held by Mr. Vinod kumar, an expert in Theatre Arts. Our students got a wonderful opportunity to interact with him and learn the nuances and techniques of stagecraft

Guest Lectures

• Guest Lecturer online on ‘Careers in Hindi LanguageV’ by Dr. Sushma Devi, Bhawan S Vivekananda College, Sainikpuri, Hyderabad, Telangana on 15th Sep 2022 with Two staff and 1st, 2nd Students participation.

Act Play

• One Act play on ‘ABHYA’(Child sexual violence) by Director Meena Naik & Artist Chinmayi Svami on 20th March 2023 with four staff and 1st, 2nd Years Students( Hindi and Sanskrit) participation. This program was jointly organized by Hindi and Sanskrit Department.

YUVA DURANDAR-NUKKAD NATAK TEAM

• Students of our department willingly join the team YUVA DURANDAR which is a nukkadnaatak team from our college. They perform street plays in several public places and participate in various competitions held by different institutions across the city to spread awareness on sensitive issues and bring glory to the institution.

Our team was given an opportunity to perform in college for THE REPUBLIC DAY celebrations.
