2023-2024:
• Dr.Ch.Yugandhar attended a workshop on “Artificial Intelligence a magical tool for teachers and researchers:Opportunities and challenges” conducted on 2nd July 2023 , organised by the IGNITE Life skill Academy, Therava.
• Dr.Ch.Yugandhar, Ms.G.Priyanka and Ms.Sruthi Sagar attended a Seminar on Enhancing student werll being: The vital role of educators” conducted on13thSeptember 2023 , organised by the St. Francis college for women.
2022-2023 :
• Workshop was conducted on DATA ANALYSIS USING PYTHON on 24/03/2023 for the final year students.
• Dr. Ch. Yugandhar attended National seminar on 17/08/2022 was conducted by IQAC, ICC, SFC.
• Ms. G. Priyanka and Ms. Sruthi sagar attended a Online workshop on 3/12/2022 was conducted by SFC.
• Ms. G. Priyanka and Ms. Sruthi sagar attended a FDP on 24/01/2023 was conducted by SFC and Department Computer science.
• Dr. Ch. Yugandhar, Ms. G. Priyanka and Ms. Sruthi sagar attended a Workshop on 24/03/2023 was conducted by SFC and Department of Statistics.
• Dr. Ch. Yugandhar, Ms. G. Priyanka and Ms. Sruthi sagar attended a Seminar on 31/03/2023 was conducted by IQAC and OBE committee , SFC.

Guest Lectures

2023-2024:
• The Department of Statistics organized a guest Lecture on “ Career and Job opportunities in Statistics” on 11th August 2023 to BSc(MSCs) and BSc(H) first and second years by Prof. N.Ch.Bhatracharyulu, Head, Department of Statistics, OU in Capitanio hall from 10:30AM to 12:30PM.
• The Department of Statistics organized a guest Lecture on “ Crafting careers in multidimensional workspace” on 20th December 2023 to BSc(MSCs) and BSc(H) Third years by K.S Harish, Professor, Siva Sivani Institute of Management in Gerosa hall from 10:30AM to 12:30PM.
2022-2023
• The department of Statistics organized a Guest lecture on Role of statistics in data science by Prof. V.V. Hara Gopal, Director, AIZEN ALGO PVT LTD for the final year students on 13/02/2023.
• The department of Statistics organized Guest lecture on Intreoduction to data and analytics by Mr.Surya Tamada, CEO, Cloud Scouts Technology, UK for first and second year students on 21/02/2023.

Field Trips

2023-2024:
• A study tour to Indian Statistical Institute, New Delhi, Agra, Nainital and Mussorie from 3 rd November to 11 th November for BSc IIID and MSc Data Science students accompanied by Dr.Ch.Yugandhar.
• Field trip to ICRISAT, Patancheru on 20 th February 2024 with B.Sc IIID students accompanied by Dr.Ch.Yugandhar and Ms. G.Priyanka.
2022-2023:
• The department of Statistics organized field TRIP to Advanced Institute of Mathematics, Statistics and computer Science, HCU campus, Gachibowli on 5/8/2022 for final year students accompanied by Dr.Ch.Yugandhar, Ms.G.Priyanka and Ms.Sruthi Sagar.
• The department of Statistics organized field trip to Advanced Institute of Mathematics, Statistics and computer Science, HCU campus, Gachibowli on 12/9/2022 for second year students accompanied by Dr.Ch.Yugandhar, Ms.G.Priyanka.
• The department of Statistics organized field visit to Indian Statistical Institute, Hyderabad on 8/3/2023 for BSc (IIID & H) students accompanied by Ms.Sruthi Sagar

STUDENT CLUB ACTIVITIES

2024-25:
• The Department organised events for the students of BSc(ID,IID,IIID,1H,2H,3H, MES first year) on 8 th July 2024 to commemorate “National Statistics Day” .
2023-2024:
• The Department hosted “National Statistics Day” for the students of BSc(ID,IID,IIID,1H,2H,3H) on 3 rd July 2023.
• The students of the Department hosted “Surveygana 5.0” , an inter collegiate fest for the students of BSc(ID,IID,IIID,1H,2H,3H) on February 15, 2024.
2022-2023:
• The department of statistics conducted national statistics day on 29/06/2022 for first , second and final year students.
